  • Patent number: 11939251
Abstract: A peritoneal dialysis system includes a cycler including a pump actuator, a heater and a heating pan operable with the heater, and a disposable set operable with the cycler. The heating pan includes a sidewall forming a slot. The disposable set includes a pumping cassette and a heater/mixing container. The pumping cassette includes a pump chamber configured to be actuated by the pump actuator. Additionally, the heater/mixing container is in fluid communication with the pumping cassette and is sized to be received at the heating pan. The heater/mixing container includes a port configured such that when the port is slid into the slot of the heater pan sidewall, the port is prevented from rotating about an axis transverse to a direction of flow through the port.

  • Publication number: 20190137932
Abstract: A method of imaging a sample having birefringent crystals (or other materials) using a lens-free polarized microscopy device includes illuminating the sample contained on a sample holder with circularly polarized partially coherent or coherent light and capturing lower resolution holographic images of the birefringent crystals with an image sensor. A polarization analyzer unit made from a ?/4 retarder and a linear polarizer is positioned between the sample holder and the image sensor. The lower resolution holographic images are obtained with the polarization analyzer unit in two different orientations (e.g. ˜90° orientations). Phase-retrieved, higher resolution images of the birefringent crystals at the different orientations are obtained using the lower resolution holographic images. A differential image is generated from the respective phase-retrieved, higher resolution images. An object support mask is applied to identify the birefringent crystals which can then be pseudo-colored.

  • Patent number: 4193177
Abstract: Apparatus for assembling an electrical connector housing (15) and a conductor mounting comb (41) comprising a pair of clamping mechanisms (14, 27) for clasping the housing (15) and comb (41) which mechanisms are brought together by a press (10) to force the housing (15) about the prewired comb (41). The conductors (52) are arranged in the comb (41) which in turn is supported between two fixed jaws (28, 29) of a lower clamping mechanism (27), the conductors (52) being arranged in slots (54) of one jaw (28). The housing (15) is clasped between two jaws (16, 17) of an upper clamping mechanism (14), one of which terminates in a blade (21), the blade (21) rising to a conductor folding ramp (22). As the press is operated, the upper mechanism (14) moves downward, the blade (21) cooperating with a second blade (33) on a lower jaw (28) to trim the conductor (52) ends.
