Abstract: The present invention relates, in general, to polypeptides capable of binding and neutralizing transforming growth factor beta (TGF-?) ligands, and uses of these polypeptides for treating disorders related to TGF-beta expression or activation (e.g. cancer and fibrotic diseases), and methods of making such molecules.

Abstract: A drag cloth cleaning and rinsing device including a bucket-like receptacle, capable of bearing fluid, a box-shaped screen removably mounted within the opening of said bucket, the screen having sufficient depth to be received into the bucket so that a portion of the screen is immersed below the water level within the bucket, and a drag cloth squeezing and draining trough mounted on one side of the screen. The drag cloth is inserted below the fluid level in the bucket within the screen, the screen being used to compress the drag cloth repeatedly within the fluid medium in the bucket for cleaning the drag cloth. Once cleaned, the drag cloth is transferred to the trough where the fluid is squeezed out and largely removed from the cloth by compressing the cloth against the trough. The ends of the trough, or any portion thereof, are open to allow drainage back into the bucket.

Abstract: A tile-grout applicator for expeditiously applying grout to tile after it has been layed such as on a tile, marble and slate floor or the like, comprising a lightweight, rigid elongated blade mounting member, a somewhat flexible grout applicator blade removably connectable to said support member, and a handle connected at substantially a 35 degree angle to said blade support member such that when the support portion of the blade support member is parallel to the horizontal, the handle forms approximately a 35 degree angle. The support member includes a blade-retaining bar which projects at substantially a 90 degree angle to the support member along the midportion of the support member in a downward direction such that a groove disposed in the flexible applicator blade receives the protruding area on the support member to allow the resilient blade to become affixed to the support member.

Abstract: A tool useful for cleaning and removing excess grout from a tile surface, be it cementitious or epoxy resin grout, while additionally forming and smoothing the grout joint comprising a rigid rectangularly-shaped plate, the scrubbing pad sized and shaped to conform to said plate, said scrubbing pad being of a fiber-like consistency, an elongated handle connected to the upper portion of said plate and said handle being connected on a universal joint to allow relative movement between said handle and said plate in two perpendicular planes, and a connector for affixing a pad removably to the bottom surface of the plate. The pad is of a fiber steel wool-like consistency such as the pad known as SCOTCHBRITE, a trademark of the 3M Company. The tool is used in conjunction with small amounts of water and allows the pad to apply equal pressure while having variable movement around the edges, corners, and the like to apply a scrubbing pressure to the surface of the tile and the tile joint.
