    Abstract: A fiber and process of forming the fiber containing nylon 6,6, carbon black, and copper phthalocyanine colorant, which may be spun into a yarn with improved physical properties is provided. The carbon black concentration may be up to 2% of the fiber by weight, and the concentration of copper phthalocyanine colorant may be up to 4% of the fiber by weight. The fiber may optionally contain a copolymer.
