    Abstract: The present disclosure generally pertains to a device for separating two or more components of an explosive device. The elongated hollow device has an interior space for holding the components as well as two open ends. A separator is positioned within the device, thus creating at least two non-communicating compartments. The separator prevents the premature mixing of the components. Application of compressive force onto the circumference of the separator will cause the separator to fracture, thus mixing the components. The device increases safety and lowers costs associated with shipping explosive materials by keeping the components separated until immediately before use.

In some embodiments, the baseball board game also includes two sets of nine or more baseball cards that may be positioned at locations proximate each of the four bases on the baseball diamond. One or more score sheets are also provided in some embodiments.

    Abstract: A door locking system includes a door that has an outer edge. The door is overlapped with a door frame in a dwelling wall when the door in a closed position. A mounting plate is attached to the outer edge and has an upper edge and a lower edge. A swing plate is pivotally coupled to the mounting plate by a pivot pin positioned adjacent to the upper edge. A stop plate is attached to the door frame and extends outwardly from the door frame. The mounting plate is abutted against the stop plate when the door is in a closed position overlapping the door frame. The stop plate is positioned below the pivot pin. The swing plate is pivoted over the stop plate in a locking position to position the stop plate between the swing plate and the mounting plate to prevent opening of the door.

    Abstract: An electrical signal representing speech is filtered by attenuating low frequency components of the signal. The RMS amplitude of the signal after filtering is compared with the RMS amplitude of the signal before filtering and the ratio is used to control the gain of an amplifier coupled to the filtered signal. The harmonic content of the electrical signal is increased, before or after filtering, by raising the signal to a power, filtering, raising the signal to the inverse power, and filtering. The power is preferably greater than one and less than two. The final output signal is approximately as loud as the original signal.

    Abstract: A cam operated document stop in an item sorter provides positive action to halt the passage of a document or other item, from a flow of documents in a mainstream pathway, when it arrives in an inspection station. The document is stopped in an open receptacle area for inspection and then released for return to the mainstream pathway. Stoppage is effected by rotation of cam members which position a stop arm to stop the flow of the document. After the document has been inspected and corrected, the stop arm is repositioned to release the document into the mainstream flow. After a suitable delay to allow the document to clear the receptacle area, the cam members rotate the stop arm into position to stop the next document.
