  • Publication number: 20240077159
Abstract: A one-hand engageable vacuum tool connection assembly for connection to a commercial vehicle vacuum system that includes: a vacuum tool connection assembly hose having a first end and a second end; an upper assembly and a lower assembly having a tool connector where the tool connector engages a second end of the lower assembly swivel cuff and is typically adapted to receive one or a plurality of different types of vacuum tools. The vacuum tool engagement assembly is typically free of any flapper valve, metal or spring biased elements.

  • Publication number: 20230098239
Abstract: An elastomeric bicomponent fiber, including at least one sheath and a core, with non-blocking properties and a garment-like feel is provided. The core includes two or more polypropylene based elastomers and a secondary amide, and the sheath includes a non-elastomeric polyethylene. Further, the sheath can be present as a small portion of the total elastomeric composition, and the secondary amide can be present as a small portion of the core, while forming a bicomponent fiber with non-blocking properties and a garment-like feel, while maintaining good strength characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20230089861
Abstract: Methods and (articles of manufacture therefrom) including forming an elastic film from a polymer composition; tensioning the elastic film to a stretch ratio of between 2 and 6 in the MD; laminating the elastic film to an extensible facing to provide an elastomeric laminate having a CD hysteresis loss of 70% or less and an MD hysteresis loss of 50% or less.

  • Patent number: 10689863
Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor underlayment that may be positioned directly in contact with the underside surface of a finished floor and comprise more than one layer such as a first layer pattern-unbonded nonwoven web and a second layer microporous film. Additional layers may comprise a meltblown nonwoven layer and a spunbond layer. The floor underlayment of the present invention may exhibit a sound pressure level (SPL in dB at 800 Hz or 1600 Hz) reduction IIC of about 30 to about 40.

  • Patent number: 4281722
Abstract: A retractable bit system that includes a single piece annular core bit that is movable through a drill string (drill stem), had an outer diameter about the same as that of the drill stem, and can be releasably locked to the drill string, an outer barrel assembly for the drill stem that is operable for lockingly engaging the core bit and driving the core bit, bit replacement tools for moving and core bit through the drill string and operable for operating the outer barrel assembly and replacing the bit on the drill string without removing the drill string from a drill hole, a manually operated surface tool removably mounted on the drill string for clampingly engaging a wire line and retracting the wire line to operate the respective one of the bit installation tool and bit retraction tool when the respective tool extends into the outer barrel assembly, and a safety release tool for operating and withdrawing the replacement tools which will uncouple from the replacement tool when more than a predetermined force
