    Abstract: An ABCITE® reinforced leather and a method for producing the ABCITE® reinforced leather for use in making shoes, gloves and garments are shown. ABCITE® pellets are ground into a fine powder and floated in a carrier so that they penetrate the fiber structure of a tanned skin. The ABCITE® particles bond to the fiber structure and provide enhanced abrasion resistance and tensile strength to the leather. This ABCITE® impregnated leather can be used to make gloves, shoes and garments. Also, ABCITE® powder can be added to the surface to make the surface more durable and abrasion resistant.

    Abstract: A vibration reducing golf glove, which includes a front panel for covering the inner portion of a wearer's hand and fingers, a thumb section for covering the wearer's thumb which is coupled to the front panel, and a back panel for covering the outer portion of a wearer's hand and fingers. Vibration reducing thick leather is coupled independently to the front panel at the palm, thumb and finger areas for reducing the degree of vibration. As a result, the vibration reducing golf glove provides a reduction in the vibration and shock transmitted to the wearer's and at the time a shock or vibration is applied to the outer surface of the glove.

    Abstract: An aloe vera re-tanned leather for use in a glove, garment, sandal or shoe. The leather includes tanned leather having an internal fiber matrix. An aloe vera powder of aloe vera particles in a gel carrier is in the tanned leather in a retanning process so that the aloe vera particles in the gel carrier penetrate the internal fiber matrix and are temporarily trapped within the internal fiber matrix. The trapped aloe vera particles in the tanned leather gradually emerge from the inside surface of the leather to be in contact with, lubricate and treat the skin of a wearer of the glove, garment, sandals or shoes, whereby the aloe vera lubricated leather is particularly suitable for use in gloves, garments, sandals or shoes which come in contact with a wearer's skin. The process of retanning the leather to include the aloe vera in the leather and the gloves, garments, sandals and shoes incorporating the aloe vera retaining leather is also described.

    Abstract: A leather made beneficially interactive with the human body through the insertion of rare earth elements and/or ceramics into its fiber matrix for use in garments, footwear, gloves or upholstery. A tanned leather having an internal fiber matrix has fine particles of rare earth elements and/or ceramics trapped and imbedded into the internal fiber matrix of the leather in sufficient amount to reflect and amplify infrared radiation. The trapped particles receive short wave infrared radiation from a human body and from the surrounding environment and reflect and amply them and convert the short wavelength infrared radiation into long wavelength infrared radiation that penetrates more deeply into human flesh with the beneficial results of increased blood flow, cellular activity and healing. In addition, a layer of phase change materials can be added to the surface of the leather to provide a temperature stabilizing material.

The glove includes a palm panel for covering the inner portion of a wearer's hands and fingers, thumb panel for covering the wearer's thumb, coupled to the palm panel, and a back panel for covering the outer portion of a wearer's hand and fingers. Vibration reducing pads are coupled to the interior of the glove in critical locations for reducing the degree of vibration. As a result, a vibration reducing sports glove provides a reduction in the vibration and shock transmitted to the wearer's hand at the time a shock or vibration is applied to the outer surface of the glove.
