  • Patent number: 10885686
Abstract: An image is to be shared across a plurality of pages. Versions of attribute information are computed for the image, each of the versions of the attribute information associated with a respective different page of the plurality of pages, each version of the attribute information specifying a respective arrangement of at least a portion of the image in the respective page of the plurality of pages. The plurality of pages are produced for output using the respective versions of the attribute information, the produced pages for output each including at least a portion of the image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 28, 2014
Date of Patent: January 5, 2021
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Steven Holland, John D Wilcox, Jr., Charles M Rekiere, Sean Michael Collison
  • Patent number: 10210642
Abstract: Information relating to a user input to edit a portion of an image is received,A where the image is divided into a plurality of tiles. In response to the received information, at least one further tile in a representation of the edit is created. A data structure including entries that link the plurality of tiles and the at least one further tile is created. The at least one further tile with the plurality of tiles are combined to produce an output page that includes the image with the edit applied to the image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 28, 2014
Date of Patent: February 19, 2019
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Perry V Lea, Steven Holland, Bradley R Larson, John D Wilcox, Jr.
  • Patent number: 9942426
Abstract: A system comprising a multifunctional peripheral device comprising a processor and a display device, in which the display device presents to a user an electronic document, in which, with an editing module, the multifunctional peripheral device receives input indicating edits to be made to the electronic document, and in which the edits are saved as a separate image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 29, 2014
Date of Patent: April 10, 2018
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.

  • Patent number: 5797416
Abstract: A device which protects water faucets and water pipes to which they are attached from freezing or breaking due to freezing of water contained therein. • Patent number: 4146874
Abstract: Method and apparatus for supplying to marking means, character bit data from a two-dimensional matrix of rows and columns of storage elements wherein character selection is made by specifying the character storage cell and character width. Characters are symmetrically stored about the vertical axis of a preassigned matrix having an even number of columns and the binary width data are translated as starting and stopping addresses on opposite sides of the axis for readout of columns therebetween. The center storage of the character with clear margins enables the raw binary width data to be used as one edge address and its complement to be used as the other address in determining the width of the character to be retrieved and printed. Proportional spacing and justification are simply achieved by varying the width data as required.
