  • Patent number: 11495211
Abstract: Memory deterioration detection and evaluation includes capturing human utterances with a voice interface and generating, for a user, a human utterances corpus that comprises human utterances selected from the plurality of human utterances based on meanings of the human utterances as determined by natural language processing by a computer processor. Based on data generated in response to signals sensed by one or more sensing devices operatively coupled with the computer processor, contextual information corresponding to one or more human utterances of the corpus is determined. Patterns among the corpus of human utterances are recognized based on pattern recognition performed by the computer processor using one or more machine learning models. Based on the pattern recognition a change in memory functioning of the user is identified. The identified change is classified, based on the contextual information, as to whether the change is likely due to memory impairment of the user.

  • Patent number: 11443008
Abstract: Controlling contents of interfaces may include receiving multiple interfaces presented on a display screen. The multiple interfaces may include at least one primary task interface and each of the multiple interfaces may present at least one content item. A user engagement level with respect to content items presented via the multiple interfaces may be estimated. A degree of user effectiveness with respect to progression toward completing a primary task presented via the primary task interface may be determined. A content item may be selected from the multiple interfaces based on the user engagement level and the degree of user effectiveness. A presentation of the selected content item may be made in a controlled manner on an unused portion of at least one of the multiple interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20220139245
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a computer-implemented method of generating personalized learning-based guidance. The computer-implemented method includes receiving at a question and answer (Q&A) module a user inquiry from a user. A knowledge pattern model of Q&A module is used to identify a knowledge pattern of the user, wherein the knowledge pattern of the user includes a learning-assist process that assists a discovery process implemented by the user and through which the user discovers an answer to the user inquiry. The knowledge pattern is used to generate the personalized learning-based guidance, wherein the personalized learning-based guidance includes a communication configured to assist the user with performing a task of acquiring a target knowledge that can be used by the user to generate the answer to the user inquiry.
