  • Publication number: 20030015313
Abstract: Apparatus for cleaning cooler apparatus in situ of the type having a shell with external piping and a tube bundle disposed in the shell and for utilization with a cleaning liquid comprising a movable skid. Intake and outlet manifolds are mounted on the skid and are adapted to be coupled into the external piping. A plurality of filter pods are carried on the skid and each has an inlet and an outlet. A pump is provided for causing flow of the cleaning liquid through piping which interconnects the inlets and the outlets of the filter pods to the inlet manifold and to the outlet manifold so that the cleaning liquid passes through the inlets of the filter pods, through the filter pods and out the outlets of the filter pods and into the outlet manifold.
