  • Patent number: 11968080
Abstract: For a communication channel having a first endpoint in a customer on-premise network and a second endpoint on a primary host machine in a cloud service provider infrastructure, the primary host machine determines a change in a state information of the communication channel and identifies a backup host machine for the communication channel. The primary host machine causes the change in the state information to be replicated to the backup host machine, wherein the replicated state information stored by the backup host machine is usable by the backup host machine after a failover causes the backup host machine to become the second endpoint of the communication channel.

  • Publication number: 20230257791
Abstract: Methods and kits are provided for producing Griffithsin. The methods include providing a genetically modified microorganism comprising a gene encoding Griffithsin protein operably linked to an inducible promotor and growing the genetically modified microorganism under conditions that induce the promotor and cause expression of griffithisin. The Griffithsin is purified by releasing Griffithsin from the microorganism by cellular disruption, performing a precipitation step to remove contaminating protein and nucleic acids, and performing an anion exchange chromatography step.

  • Patent number: 11525456
Abstract: An axial fan has an inner-rotor motor which includes a drive end, a non-drive end and a shaft which extends axially from the drive end; and an impeller which includes a cylindrical impeller cup and a number of impeller blades that extend radially from the impeller cup. The impeller cup has an open upstream end and a closed downstream end which is connected to the shaft. In operation, the motor spins the impeller to generate an airflow in a direction from the non-drive end of the motor to the drive end of the motor. The impeller cup is configured to receive the motor therein and surround the drive end of the motor but not the non-drive end of the motor. As a result, the non-drive end of the motor is exposed to the airflow during operation of the fan.

  • Publication number: 20220040871
Abstract: The present invention describes an invention called the “Handheld Powered Box Cutter” which makes it much easier and faster to cut up cardboard packaging and boxes. It uses a handheld ergometric compact design and uses a rechargeable battery-operated motor, to drive a protected rapidly oscillating cutting blade, to ease the task of slicing various thicknesses of cardboard. The cutting blade is housed within a hooked protective cutting slot area. This slot allows pieces of cardboard to be slid into a rapidly oscillating cutting blade and it protects human fingers from being cut by the blade.

  • Publication number: 20180116304
Abstract: A shirt to counteract detrimental upper body movement and related methods are disclosed. A base layer has a first elasticity. A first plurality of bands are coupled to the base layer, and have an elasticity less than the first elasticity. A load distribution portion is coupled to the base layer and anchors first ends of the first plurality of bands. The first plurality of support connectors have an elasticity less than the first elasticity. The first plurality of support connectors are positioned adjacent right and left scapulae when worn by a user. The first plurality of support connectors are to provide a tension at bottom and inside edges of the right and left scapulae. The first plurality of bands, the first plurality of support connectors, and the load distribution portion are to limit internal rotation and anterior tilting of the scapulae when the shirt is worn by the user.
