    Abstract: An automotive electrical system provides power from two DC sources each connected to a separate group of integrity-protected (ASIL) loads. A third group of non-ASIL loads are connected to both power sources through a controllable isolator with first and second transistor arrays. The connection through the isolator also connects each ASIL group to the other DC source. A control circuit includes a plurality of drivers for driving the first and second transistor arrays into conduction. The control circuit is configured to cease driving at least a respective one of the first and second transistor arrays when a fault condition is detected in which current flow in at least one of the transistor arrays exceeds a threshold.

    Abstract: A flow isolation system for connecting a source of pressurized fluid to plumbing for using the fluid. A generally vertical flow chamber extends from a lower end to an upper end, with an inlet for a pressurized fluid is disposed in a sidewall of the vertical chamber in a position near but paced above the lower end, and an outlet disposed in a sidewall of the vertical chamber in a position near but below the upper end. An evacuation tube extends from an open end near the lower portion of the vertical chamber to an evacuation valve disposed in the upper end. A gas inlet may be disposed in the upper end. When both the exit and inlet are closed, the system may be evacuated by connecting pressurized gas to the gas inlet to force fluid up the evacuation tube and out the evacuation valve.

The socket comprises a locking insert forming a locking arrangement including a body defining a chamber therein. The locking insert further includes opposing top and bottom ends where the top end defines a top opening communicating with the chamber, and the bottom end defines a bottom opening communicating with the chamber. A plurality of mirror image spaced fingers define a passageway extending through the chamber. The plurality of fingers allow passage of the locking elements as a free end of the shackle is pulled through the passageway via either the top or the bottom openings in opposite insertion directions, and lock with a locking element of the shackle when the shackle movement is in an opposite direction to the insertion direction. In the alternative, the socket has a chamber with the locking arrangement formed one piece therewith.
