  • Patent number: 10081838
Abstract: The present invention relates to a set of biomarkers, microarrays that provide for detection thereof, an expression signature comprising 16 genes or a subset thereof, and the use thereof in determining the regulation status of IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway in a cell sample or subject, as well as compositions for the detection thereof. The regulation status of IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway in a cell sample or subject may be assayed based on the level of expression of one or more of these genes. The methods and compositions provided herein may be used to evaluate IL-6/STAT3 pathway regulation status in a sample; classify a cell sample as having a deregulated or regulated IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; determine whether an agent modulates the IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; predict the response of a subject to an agent that modulates the IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; assign treatment to a subject; and/or evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of therapies designed to regulate IL-6/STAT3 pathway signaling.

  • Publication number: 20150100242
Abstract: The methods provided focus on a quantitative molecular assay tools that systematically measure a set of pre-selected targets, with proper controls in a biological sample for identification of biomarkers or novel targets for a disease status. This allows for systematically maximizing the power of multivariate feature selection tools on the analysis of high-throughput screening data (such as microarray) and use of the well selected target to generate a qPCR array with tissue specific controls and qPCR controls to serve the needs of biomarker study.

  • Publication number: 20150038376
Abstract: The methods provided herein use microarray data for feature selection and then use selected targets to generate industry standard qPCR arrays with new clinical sample assay data so order to build a classification model. This multi-step method overcomes the disadvantages of traditional biomarker identification.

  • Publication number: 20120252689
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel set of 16 biomarkers, microarrays that provide for the detection thereof, an expression signature comprising 16 genes or a subset thereof, and the use thereof in determining the regulation status of Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway. The regulation status of Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway may be assayed based on the level of expression of one or more of these genes. The expression of these biomarkers may be used to evaluate Wnt/?-catenin pathway deregulation status; classify a cell sample as having a deregulated or regulated Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway; determine whether an agent modulates the Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway; predict response of a subject to an agent that modulates the Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway; assign treatment to a subject; or evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of therapies designed to regulate Wnt/?-catenin pathway signaling.

  • Publication number: 20020158729
Abstract: An electromagnetic contactor that is designed for error-free assembly. The housing includes a contactor carrier interference that fixes the orientation between the housing and contact carrier. Orientation between the contact carrier and the armature is fixed by an offset elliptical joint. Pole shader interferences fix the orientation between the coil cover subassembly, the armature and the magnet. Shoulders located on two of four base legs fix the orientation between the housing and the base. The base includes a rail spring, spring catches, upper and lower catches that allow the contactor to be mounted on a DIN rail without using tools.
