Publication number: 20060151962Abstract: An electrically conductive gasket for paint masking. In one embodiment of the present invention, the gasket includes a core, an electrically conductive cover that is applied to the core with adhesive. A film of material is attached to the outer surface of the electrically conductive cover which functions as a removable mask. The various embodiments of the gasket may be fabricated from materials capable of withstanding relatively high temperatures and may be provided in a variety of different shapes.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2005Publication date: July 13, 2006Inventors: Clark Hammaker, John Dietrich

Publication number: 20060103081Abstract: An electrically conductive gasket and methods of manufacturing electrically conductive gaskets. In one embodiment, the gasket includes a core that supports an electrically conductive cover thereon. The electrically conductive cover may be attached to the core or portions of the core by one or more adhesives used to also affix the gasket to an electrically conductive object. In other embodiments, a mechanical fastener may be affixed to the core by the one or more adhesives employed to affix the electrically conductive cover to the core.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2004Publication date: May 18, 2006Inventors: John Dietrich, Clark Hammaker

Patent number: 6993859Abstract: A boot (200), such as a snowboard boot, having a harness assembly (240) disposed in an outer shell (210). The harness defines a vamp gap and includes a plurality of cord keepers (268) disposed on either side of the gap. A cord—for example, a stainless steel cable (266)—slidably engages the cord keepers, for tightening the harness about the user's ankle. A tensioning mechanism (190) having a knob (192) is attached to the harness assembly and engages the cable, whereby the user can releasably tension the cable. An aperture (126) in the outer shell is adapted to receive the knob, whereby the user can tighten or loosen the harness without removing the boot. The cable may slidably engage the tongue (215) of the boot, such that tensioning the cable will bias the tongue inwardly, towards the user.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2003Date of Patent: February 7, 2006Assignee: K-2 CorporationInventors: John Dietrich Martin, Bobby Meeks

Publication number: 20060021014Abstract: A managed services platform. An applications management server is provided for managing relationships with application service providers and others over a wide area network such as the Internet. The applications management server interfaces with a master database server and the servers of one or more application service providers, or other entities, to facilitate selection and deselection of applications, services, and capabilities that may be available for use by the information technology network of a company.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 16, 2005Publication date: January 26, 2006Inventors: Robert Hartman, John Dietrich, Jeffrey Finn, Rodney Holm

Patent number: 6889407Abstract: A cord lock apparatus (100) is disclosed comprising a base (120) having a converging channel (128), and an elastically flexible locking insert (140) that is retained by the base. The locking insert defines a loop including left and right legs (146) that are generally parallel to the sidewalls (124) of the channel, and receive a cord (102) therebetween. When the locking insert is undeformed, the cord is clampingly engaged between the insert legs and the base sidewalls. The user pulls upwardly on the loop to elastically deform the insert such that the legs rotate inwardly, releasing the cord. The insert may also slide longitudinally to a limited extent in the channel. Teeth (123, 143) may be provided on the locking insert and/or the base to more securely engage the cord.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2003Date of Patent: May 10, 2005Assignee: K-2 CorporationInventor: John Dietrich Martin

Patent number: 6877256Abstract: A boot (100), such as a sports boot, having a removable liner (160) that is adapted to be inserted into an outer shell (110). The liner includes a vamp gap (170) with a plurality of cable keepers (168) disposed on either side of the gap, and a cable (166) that slidably engages the cable keepers, for tightening the liner about the user's foot. A tightening mechanism (190) having a knob (192) is attached to the liner and engages the cable, whereby the user can releasably tension the cable. An aperture (126) including a grommet portion (130) in the outer shell is adapted to receive the knob whereby the user can tighten the liner without removing the boot outer shell.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2003Date of Patent: April 12, 2005Assignee: K-2 CorporationInventors: John Dietrich Martin, Bobby Meeks

Patent number: 4117892Abstract: A folding tool bar system for agricultural use includes a cross frame rigidly secured to a main frame at a position forward of the support wheels and rear-folding wings. Ground implements are mounted on the wings and cross frame at equal lateral spacing across the entire system when the wings are extended for use. The innermost sections of the wings are free of implements to facilitate folding the wings rearwardly for road travel without interference between the wheels and the center implements.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1977Date of Patent: October 3, 1978Assignee: DMI, Inc.Inventors: William John Dietrich, Sr., Cary Leon Sizelove

Patent number: 4049063Abstract: A plow system includes a number of individual plow units mounted on a beam which is inclined relative to the direction of travel of a traction vehicle. The units are mounted for continuous rotation about vertical axes so that they may be opened or closed to adjust the width of a cut between adjacent units over a continuous, wide range. The plow unit is supported by a forward furrow wheel located to ride in previously-plowed ground and a rear furrow wheel, and the main frame is pulled by a tongue or draft member connected between a tractor hitch and an intermediate location of the inclined beam. A hydraulic unit adjusts the individual plow units in unison, and at the same time, through a linkage, adjusts the tongue relative to the inclined beam to keep the forward furrow wheel at a constant distance from the rear tractor wheel for all width adjustments.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1975Date of Patent: September 20, 1977Assignee: DMI, Inc.Inventor: William John Dietrich
