  • Patent number: 7745497
Abstract: An electrically neutral composition in the form of a water-in-oil or an oil-in-water emulsion is imparted with a unipolar electrostatic charge on spraying from an aerosol spray device by incorporating into the composition a non-ionic surfactant and at least one polar or ionic or aromatic or linearly conjugated compound. The amount of the polar or ionic or aromatic or linearly conjugated compound included in the composition is about 0.01 to about 80% w/w based on the non-ionic surfactant, but is such that the theoretical conductivity of the emulsion is less than the bulk conductivity of the emulsion.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 5, 2002
Date of Patent: June 29, 2010
Assignees: Reckitt Benckiser (UK) Limited, Reckitt Benckiser (Australia) Pty Limited
Inventors: Duncan Roger Harper, Neale Harrison, John Douglas Morgan, John Howard Clint, Mario Abela
  • Publication number: 20070183924
Abstract: A device for enabling vapourization of a chemical formulation into an atmosphere comprising means (4) for receiving a cartridge including the chemical formulation, aperture means (3) to enable vapourized chemical formulation to be guided therethrough into the atmosphere, wherein the chemical formulation contacts a heater means in order to vapourize the chemical formulation.

  • Publication number: 20070126777
Abstract: A printing cartridge comprising: a body configured to removably engage with an inkjet printer; a printhead assembly mounted to the body, the printhead assembly comprising at least one printhead integrated circuit having a plurality of ink ejection nozzles and a support member mounting the, or each, printhead integrated circuit, the nozzles being operated, in use, to print on media by ejecting ink thereon; and a capping mechanism for capping the nozzles during non-operation; and a mounting arrangement for commonly mounting the printhead assembly and capping mechanism to the body, the support member of the printhead assembly being directly mounted to the body and the capping mechanism being directly mounted to the support member.
