  • Publication number: 20020062275
Abstract: A method and apparatus for operating a buyer-driven electronic marketplace in which a product is traded from a seller to a purchaser first involves the receipt of a request to purchase goods from a buyer. The request to purchase goods specifies a type of goods to purchase. Sellers that generally stock the specified type of goods are then identified from a database of sellers, and the request to purchase goods is communicated to the identified sellers. Next, offers to sell the specified goods are received and then communicated to the buyer. Each offer to sell specifies a price of the offered goods. A product order corresponding to at least one of the received offers is then received from the buyer. That product order is communicated to the seller, and an order confirmation is then received from the seller.

  • Patent number: 5172594
Abstract: A liquid level sensor system for a tank includes a stillwell having a transducer assembly positioned in the bottom of the stillwell. A guide conduit surrounds a flexible plastic coated wire bus which extends through a sidewall of the tank and which connects the transducer assembly to an indicator assembly located outside the tank. The conduit includes an end cap which secures the wire bus within the conduit. Installation and removal of the transducer assembly and wire bus is accomplished at a location outside the tank by removing the end cap and pulling or pushing the transducer assembly through the conduit by means of the wire bus.

  • Patent number: 5063596
Abstract: A host computer add on encryption/decryption printed circuit board includes address and control buffers, data buffer and board decode logic having input and output terminals selectively connected to the host computer and to first ports of a dual port random access memory (DPR) for storing a block of data and addresses and inputting portions of the block of data and addresses into the DPR's memory. A central processing unit (CPU) is connected to second ports of the DPR, and to a CPU RAM, CPU ROM, real time clock, key image buffer, and DES encryption device.

  • Patent number: RE35403
Abstract: An encryption printed circuit board (PCB) for use as an add on board to a host computer includes address registers, read/write controller, and data information transceiver adapted for connection to the host computer. The addresses registers are connected to a memory decode, auto-start PROM, I/O decoder and register select. The memory decoder is connected to the autostar, PROM and the I/O decoder is connected to the register select. A bus logic circuit is connected to the read/write controller, and outputs read/write signals to the data information transceiver and register select. The data information transceiver is connected to the autostart PROM and to a plurality of data registers for receiving instructions from the auto-start PROM and inputting or receiving information from the data registers pursuant to instruction of the auto-start PROM program, and selection of the appropriate registers by the register select.
