Abstract: An air conditioner is mounted to the roof of an operator's compartment of mobile equipment wherein a hydraulic circuit is empowered by the variable RPM prime mover for the vehicle while the fans and compressor of the unit are driven at a constant speed by means of a single hydraulic motor having an axially vertical shaft journaled in its case and extending above and below the case to drive the evaporator and condenser fans and the compressor.
