    Abstract: A powered wall plate may include a face plate comprising an opening extending through the face plate from the first surface to the rear surface. A first keyed interface may be formed at the rear surface of the face plate. An electrical receptacle may comprise a second keyed interface configured to be coupled with the first keyed interface, the electrical receptacle further comprising terminals disposed on sides of the electrical receptacle. Spring-biased terminals may be coupled to the face plate and coupled with the terminals. A powered feature may be coupled to the face plate and configured to be electrically coupled to the electrical receptacle through the spring-biased terminals when the first keyed interface and the second keyed interface are mateably coupled. Power may not be supplied from the electrical receptacle to the powered feature when the first keyed interface is not mateably coupled with the second keyed interface.

    Abstract: A wire connector includes an outer shell with a wire cavity therein, a plurality of raised ribs on the surface of the outer shell, each of the raised ribs having a rib cap overmolded on to a top surface with a gap between the rib cap corresponding to each of the raised ribs and the rib cap corresponding to each adjacent raised rib. Two leverage wings may extend outward from the outer shell on opposing sides. A wire skirt may be overmolded around the open end of the outer shell, the wire skirt and plurality of rib caps formed of a material more flexible than a material used to form the outer shell. A wing rib may be overmolded onto a portion of the first side of each leverage wing. A base of the wire connector may include texture in the form of raised grip bumps of various shapes.

The back plate couples with the at least one extension tube at the trailing end.

The sleeve may include a ledge extending outward from the sleeve adjacent a back edge of the sleeve on at least two sides of the sleeve. The sleeve is slidably coupled within the central aperture and movable between an expanded position and a collapsed position. A front surface of the sleeve enclosure may include a window that extends forward of the sleeve walls and may further bulge forward of the front surface.

The lid is configured to be inserted into the channel. The lid has two grooves that are sized and shaped to receive one of the ridges. The lid also has a slot configured to receive the top of the central pillar when the lid is inserted into the channel. The central pillar supports the lid when the lid is inserted into the channel.

The wall plate has a first mounting screw aperture and the plug-in module has a second mounting screw aperture that receive a mounting screw, attaching the plug-in module to the wall plate and the electrical device.

The leading end is sized and shaped to mate with the cavity of the first end and the trailing end is sized and shaped to mate with the cavity of the second end. Multiple elongated bodies can be coupled together through the use of the couplers.
