  • Patent number: 7658060
Abstract: A heat exchange system for use in lubricating systems for aircraft turbofan engine equipment in which a lubricant is provided under pressure to spaces bounded at least in part by surfaces moving relative to one another, the heat exchange system for providing air and lubricant heat exchanges to cool the lubricant at selectively variable rates in the engine fan airstreams. A heat exchanger core is provided in a controlled air flow duct system opening at its plural entrances to the engine fan airstreams and having its outlet end opening about at the end of the fan duct nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20090171865
Abstract: A network advisory system that provides advisory information to a field service provider is disclosed. The network advisory system receives collected data from one or more destination facilities and analyzes the information to generate advisory information. The advisory information is used by the field service provider to provide a service at the destination facility. The field service provider may receive the advisory information while in transit to the destination facility or while located at a destination facility. The field service provider receives the advisory information through a network connection. The network connection may be either a wireless connection or a land-based connection.

  • Patent number: 7054822
Abstract: A network advisory system that provides advisory information to a field service provider and/or a management system is disclosed. The network advisory system receives collected data from one or more destination facilities and analyzes the information to generate advisory information. If the advisory information is deemed time-critical, the information is automatically transmitted to a management system to alert the system that a time-critical situation is resident at a destination facility. The management system may determine one or more appropriate field service providers to address the time-critical situation. If the advisory information is not deemed time-critical, the information may be stored by the network advisory system until access by a requesting entity—either a management system or a field service provider.

  • Publication number: 20030033230
Abstract: A network advisory system that provides customized advisory information to a field service provider is disclosed. The network advisory system receives collected data from one or more destination facilities and analyzes the information to generate customized advisory information. The customized advisory information is used by the field service provider to provide a service at the destination facility. The field service provider may receive the customized advisory information while in transit to the destination facility or while located at located destination facility. The field service provider receives the customized advisory information through a network connection. The network connection may be either a wireless connection or a land-based connection.

  • Patent number: 5607651
Abstract: A multiple product dispensing system includes a plurality of use solution dispensers and a controller for selecting one of the dispensers according to a preset regimen, e.g., selecting different dispensers on different days of the week. Each dispenser dispenses a controlled concentration of use solution using a diluent delivery apparatus that delivers a diluent to form a liquid concentrate from a solid chemical composition, and to form make-up diluent for diluting the liquid concentrate and forming a use solution of controlled concentration. A foam reducer reduces the kinetic energy of the make-up diluent prior to mixing with the liquid concentrate to reduce foaming. An unskilled operator may operate the dispensing system to dispense a use solution of carefully controlled concentration, and the controller will automatically select the proper dispenser according to the preset regimen, without any additional input on the part of the operator.
