  • Patent number: 12239353
Abstract: An energy module connectable to a surgical instrument is disclosed. The energy module can include a circuit, which can include a first amplifier and a second amplifier coupled to a port of the energy module to which a surgical instrument is connectable. The first amplifier can be configured to generate a first drive signal at a first frequency range and the second amplifier can be configured to generate a second drive signal at a second frequency range. The circuit can be configured to control the amplifiers to deliver the first drive signal, the second drive signal, and/or a combination of the first and second drive signals to a surgical instrument connected to the port.

  • Publication number: 20250049467
Abstract: A method of suturing a trocar path incision in a tissue of a patient with an obturator includes inserting the obturator through the tissue such that a shaft of the obturator extends through a tissue opening about the trocar path incision and a distal tip of the obturator is positioned within a cavity of the patient. The method also includes directing the suture via a suturing feature with the obturator inserted through the tissue in order to direct the suture relative to the tissue. Furthermore, the method includes closing the tissue opening about the trocar path incision with the suture.

  • Patent number: 9833682
Abstract: Dropping a weight onto a weight lifting drop bag allows a weight lifter to drop a weight onto a floor with minimal damage to the floor, with minimal noise, and without any bouncing of the weight. The bag is a flexible enclosure filled with resilient pellets. The bag has a generally flat or slightly concave upper surface, a length of about two to eight feet, a width of about one and one-half to four feet, and a height of about two to twelve inches.

  • Patent number: 6488381
Abstract: The invention is a single device comprised of both an eye enhancer cover and a shade collector the two being connected to each other by two or more elastic band fasteners so it can be removably mounted on a sighting telescopic sight and can be easily stored when not in use. The object of the device is to optimize sighting of a target area under adverse lighting conditions with a single device.

  • Patent number: 6414562
Abstract: An impedance matching circuit (10) matches the impedance of a load (19) coupled to an RF amplifier (12) to that of the RF amplifier (12). The impedance matching circuit (10) samples a transmitted signal from the RF amplifier (12) and a reflected signal from the load (19). The amplitude and the phase of the sampled reflected signal are compared with those of the sampled transmitted signal to calculate the impedance mismatch. A control logic circuit (80) adjusts the capacitance and inductance values of variable capacitance (23; 27) and inductance (35) elements in the impedance matching circuit (10), thereby matching the impedance of the load (19) to that of the RF amplifier (12).

  • Patent number: 6401585
Abstract: A saw blade for in-line reciprocating hand-held power saws has first and second types of cutting teeth adapted to cut materials of disparate hardness disposed on its first and second oppositely disposed cutting edges. Saw blades according to the invention are fabricated in a die having first and second longitudinally oriented sections. Band saw blade material having a back edge and a factory cutting edge having teeth adapted to cut a first type of material is placed in the die. When closed under pressure, the first die section cuts the back edge of the band saw blade material in the desired second edge of the saw blade. The second die section cuts a desired type of cutting teeth on a previously shaped second cutting edge of a blade. A power saw equipped with the saw blade cuts a first component of material having a first hardness using the first cutting edge of a blade.
