Abstract: The present invention provides a foodstuff comprising taurine, vitamin C, vitamin E and one or more polyunsaturated fatty acids, its use in the control of cardiovascular disorders, and its use in a method for controlling cardiovascular disorders.

Abstract: The DNA sequence encoding T4 DNA polymerase (gene 43 of T4 phase) has been successfully cloned, thereby providing a convenient source of this enzyme. The method involves the production of a gene 43 NH.sub.2 -terminus fragment absent its promoter. The latter is ligated to a fragment containing the remaining COOH-terminus sequence but lacking base pairs beyond this terminus which heretofore caused destabilization effects in cloning. The full sequence of the DNA sequence has been elucidated. Corresponding cloning methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A machine for the continuous overlay printing (color-on-color decorating) of cylindrical cans provides for the laying down of base coats on the can prior to the ink lay downs as well as a top coat after the inks are set in a sequence of operations which are performed at a plurality of operating stations arranged in a vertically aligned circle. The cans are conveyed to the machine and are held on mandrels which are arranged in a circle on a rotatable vertical index table and the cans are rotated about their individual axes and rotated by the table to the operating stations in discrete indexed steps.
