Abstract: A system and method is provided for incentivizing players to visit a gambling location. In one aspect, a qualified person is invited to play an electronic game which has a plurality of outcomes, at least one of which is a winning outcome. One aspect relates to accumulating outcomes. Another relates to incentives provided to player program member(s). In some embodiments, the person does not need to be qualified. In one embodiment, the person may be required to redeem the outcome at the gambling location, in another at a redemption location. In one embodiment, a player is required to take an action in order to redeem an outcome. In some embodiments, a game play and/or redemption and/or any action must occur in a specified time, respectively. In one embodiment the electronic game is not located at a gambling location, in another it is not located at a redemption location.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for conducting sweepstakes, which can include a user controlled gaming award, wherein the user controlled gaming award includes entries in another game is provided. Entries into a sweepstakes game are associating with a unique identifier, which can be used to enter a plurality of sweepstakes games. A graphical user interface is configured to permit a player to assign awarded sweepstakes entries to at least one sweepstakes game, and further can be configured to permit the player to accumulate entries. The awarded entries can be configured as a form of currency redeemable for entry into at least one sweepstakes game. The methods and systems can permit the player to exchange any entry into a sweepstakes game. According to another embodiment of the invention, the method further comprises an act of permitting the player to exchange the custom currency.

Abstract: A mobile monitoring device provides for measurement of a bodily function of a mobile monitored person while the mobile monitored person moves about during their daily activities. Various methods are explained to measure various bodily functions which may be employed with the mobile monitoring device. Means are provided for determining the onset of a medical crisis in the health of the mobile monitored person. A medical intervention may be employed in response to the detection of the onset of the medical crisis. A notification of an oversight authority may be employed in response to the detection of the onset of the medical crisis. Locational tracking provides for the oversight authority to quickly and efficiently dispatch medical assistance in response to the onset of the medical crisis. Historic preservation of the measurements of the bodily functions allow medical personnel to better prescribe a course of treatment to medical problems including following onset of the medical crisis.

Abstract: Cooperation between a monitored person device and a companion device allow for a relatively accurate determination of a locational reference for the monitored person device and therefore, a monitored person. This is accomplished while minimizing the weight of the monitored person device which is constantly transported by the monitored person during movement of the monitored person. The companion device may be either a fixed position type or, more preferred, a transportable type which may be moved about by the monitored person. These components of the companion device include those required to receive a signal, or signals, sufficient to allow for a determining of a locational reference of the companion device and those required to transmit a signal for eventual transfer to a central location. The monitored person device must have components which provide for transmitting a signal to the companion device, if within a communication range.

Abstract: A monitoring system provides for monitoring of a person and taking an action to dissuade the person from a course of action. The system has a device attached to the person which includes mechanisms to provide for an intervention to dissuade the person from the course of action. The intervention may be in the form of delivery of either a medication or an electrical shock to the person. The system may further include monitoring of a bodily function of the person or positional tracking of the person. Various scenarios are described to provide for activation of the intervention. The system may include a second device in possession of a restrictor person with positional tracking of this person and comparison relative to the positional location of a restrictee person.
