Abstract: The present invention comprises a fastener assembly and method of use for securing first and second members. The assembly comprises a linker having a first bearing surface and a stop surface substantially perpendicular to the linker and having threaded securing opening, and a fastener. The fastener has a wedge member and a securing member where the wedge member forms substantially oppositely facing wedge and jamb surfaces. Alternative embodiments of the fastener assembly are also included.
