Abstract: A music popularity gaming system includes a backend server configured to receive, from a third-party server, information regarding songs, the information including at least one popularity metric for each song of the songs during a designated time period; transmit, to computing devices in communication with the backend server, song matchups each including at least two songs; receive, from each of the computing devices, a selection of at least one selected song matchup and a selection of a selected song; establish a contest between at least two of the computing devices; determine a winner of the contest based at least on the selected song having a greater popularity metric than the popularity metric of each other song in the selected song matchup during the designated time period; and transmit, to the plurality of computing devices, a notification of the winner.

Abstract: An interactive education system for teaching patient care to a user is described. The system comprises a patient simulator; a virtual instrument for use with the patient simulator in performing patient care activities; means for sensing an interaction between the virtual instrument and the simulator, and means for providing feedback to the user regarding the interaction between the virtual instrument and the simulator. In one aspect, the system includes a maternal simulator, a fetal simulator, and a neonatal simulator.
