  • Patent number: 12110225
Abstract: A container filling valve may include a shuttle and a drive sleeve that are magnetically coupled. Movement of the drive sleeve may move the shuttle from a position in which the filling valve is closed to a position in which the filling valve is open. A container handling arm may include a distal end configured to hold a container and a proximal end that includes a load cell. A low flow setpoint system may be configured to arrest closing of a filling valve when that filling valve is partially closed. A pressure control system may be configured to maintain a desired pressure in a reservoir or in a flow path from that reservoir. A product recirculation system may be configured to adjust flow rate in the product recirculation system.

  • Publication number: 20240312625
Abstract: An assistive device detects deterioration of a person's health, e.g., in an at-home setting, and offers guidance/prompting designed to address or avoid a deteriorated state, based on the person's personalized care plan. A deteriorated state is detected by analysis of multi-faceted data relating to any characteristics usable to assess the person's health, e.g., biometric, activity, or environmental data, as well as data from interactive health assessment screenings delivered via the assistive device. The care plan can contain actions identified by a clinician, e.g., as part of a post-discharge safety plan, or self-identified actions, which may be stabilizing coping mechanism activities. The device may also provide reminders of clinician visits, wellbeing/other activities, medications, and daily affirmations. The device may be configured as a mirror to display the person's image and an avatar with which the person may communicate in a dialog session to provide for a welcoming and engaging experience.

  • Publication number: 20240299692
Abstract: There is provided a respiratory gas delivery and sampling system, a gas sampling system, a gas sampling interface and a gas sampling tip that may be used to sample exhaled and/or expired gases from a patient, particularly from a patient who is apnoeic and/or who is receiving high flow respiratory therapy. The gas sampling system comprises a respiratory gas monitor in fluid communication with the gas sampling interface, which comprises the gas sampling tip of the invention. The gas sampling interface comprises a gas sampling conduit and the gas sampling tip is located at a free end of the conduit. The gas sampling interface may be configured to allow the gas sampling tip to be selectively positioned at or in the mouth or a nare of the patient's nose.

  • Publication number: 20240303945
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for generating AR experiences. The methods and systems access a first component of a plurality of components implemented by the messaging application, the plurality of components comprising an AR experience, each of the plurality of components being configured to be separately launched by the messaging application. The methods and systems store a first state of the first component in a data structure that is shared across the plurality of components; launching. The methods and system launch, by the messaging application, a second component of the plurality of components in response to determining that an interaction has been performed using the first component; and configure a second state of the second component based on the interaction that has been performed using the first component.

  • Patent number: 12081322
Abstract: The disclosed technique secures a seed phrase configured to access a digital wallet, which holds private keys to access digital assets on a blockchain. Copies of portions of the seed phrase are stored at multiple electronic devices. The seed phrase can be reconstructed at a particular device by retrieving a necessary and sufficient number of the portions from the other devices. In one example, the portions can be shared among devices when in physical proximity to each other and/or when the devices are authenticated as belonging to the same user, which owns the digital wallet. As such, the seed phrase can be stored securely across multiple devices and retrieved even when one of those devices is lost, damaged, or stolen.

  • Patent number: 12058284
Abstract: The invention enables digital music content to be downloaded to and used on a portable wireless computing device. An application running on the wireless device has been automatically adapted to parameters associated with the wireless device without end-user input (e.g. the application has been configured in dependence on the device OS and firmware, related bugs, screen size, pixel number, security models, connection handling, memory etc. This application enables an end-user to browse and search music content on a remote server using a wireless network; to download music content from that remote server using the wireless network and to playback and manage that downloaded music content. The application also includes a digital rights management system that enables unlimited legal downloads of different music tracks to the device and also enables any of those tracks stored on the device to be played so long as a subscription service has not terminated.

  • Patent number: 12027767
Abstract: An antenna may include rigid antenna ribs, a flexible antenna reflector layer, and a flexible support member extending behind the flexible antenna reflector layer between adjacent antenna ribs and having first and second sets of openings therein. A drawstring may extend through the first set of openings between adjacent ribs and a rear support cord is behind the flexible support member between adjacent ribs. Tie cords may extend between the flexible antenna reflector layer and the rear support cord and pass through respective ones of the second set of openings. A biasing member may maintain tension in the drawstring as adjacent antenna ribs move between first and second positions so that the flexible support member defines a pleated support body for the flexible antenna reflector layer.

  • Publication number: 20240195901
Abstract: A technique for selectively configuring a case of a handheld device to shield an antenna from receiving or transmitting wireless signals is disclosed. The technique includes moving a blocking element on the case between a first position and a second position. The blocking element is a physical structure that is rotatable, slidable, or removable to switch between the first position and the second position. In response to moving the blocking element to the first position, the blocking element blocks wireless signals received or transmitted by the antenna of the handheld device. In response to moving the blocking element to the second position, wireless signals can be received or transmitted through the case by the antenna.
