    Abstract: A U-shaped weight to engage the hockey stick shaft or handle anywhere along the length thereof, and is clamped in position by clamp screws. A flexible cover is secured by one end thereof to one side of said weight and is wrapped around the weight to cover the clamp screws and the weight and overlaps the one end and is fastened thereto by a friction fastener such as Velcro.
