  • Patent number: 10424904
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for correcting radial deformation in multi-strand wire, including a method comprising obtaining an apparatus comprising a base and a first and second roller rotatably attached to the base and laterally aligned with and laterally offset from one another, wherein each of the first and second rollers has an annular groove with a concave configuration; positioning the apparatus on a radially deformed multi-strand wire suspended between two support members such that the multi-strand wire is positioned substantially linearly in the lateral offset between the first and second rollers; and moving the apparatus over the radially deformed multi-strand wire such that a first side of the multi-strand wire is received in the groove of the first roller and a second side of the multi-strand wire is received in the groove of the second roller whereby the length of radially deformed multi-strand wire is reformed.

  • Patent number: 7402075
Abstract: A wire termination block includes at least one conductive contact; and a body having a base portion and a driving portion, the driving portion having a plurality of apertures for receiving wires and being operable in at least two driving modes to terminate and couple a received wire to the conductive contact. One of the two driving modes may be operable with a tool and the other of the two modes is operable without a tool by a user. For example, the driving portion may include a lever driven mechanism for terminating and coupling the received wires in a first of the two driving modes and a bolt driven mechanism for terminating and coupling the received wire in a second of the two driving modes. The conductive contact may be insulation displacement connector or contact (IDC).

  • Patent number: 5321867
Abstract: A device for washing a person's feet while the person is standing in an upright position includes a housing and brushes. The housing has a bottom wall first and second side walls and an open front end and rear end. The brushes include bottom brushes which are attached to the bottom wall, front side brushes which are attached to the side walls near the front end of the housing and rear side brushes which are attached to the side walls near the rear end of the housing. The device includes suction cups or the like for securing the housing to the floor of the shower or similar floor surface. The device is used by placing liquid soap or other cleaning agents into the housing while keeping both hands free to hold on to the shower walls, railing, or the like. A person using the device places their foot within the housing and moves it back and forth past the bottom brushes, front side brushes, and rear side brushes to clean the foot thoroughly.

  • Patent number: 4053183
Abstract: A self-propelled apparatus for dislodging and collecting materials from a surface and having particular use in removing roofing from a roof deck. The apparatus includes a small tractor-like vehicle having a frame and a blade extends forwardly of the frame and is adapted to move along the surface. A brush is mounted adjacent the forward edge of the blade and is adapted to sweep the dislodged material up the blade to an endless conveyor which is mounted on the frame. The brush includes a series of rigid fingers which are located within the bristles and act to move heavy materials up the inclined blade to the conveyor.
