Abstract: A dust mop frame that includes an elongate body member having a first elongate face and an opposed second elongate face. The elongate body member includes a central body region and at least one projection. The at least one projection has a first region that is connected to the planar central body region, a central region extending angularly outward from the first region at an orientation parallel to the longitudinal axis and an outer terminal edge. The outer terminal edge of the projection is oriented upward relative to the second elongate face of the central body region when the dust mop frame is in the use position. The dust mop also includes at least one handle attachment member connected to the first elongate face; and at least one mop head bundle attachment mechanism connected to the second elongate face.

Abstract: A mop device that includes a plurality of yarns collected in a bundle, the yearn bundle having a first end and an opposed second end; at least one headband connected to the yarn bundle at a location intermediate between the first end and the second end of the yarn bundle; at least one spacer member connected to the headband in overlying relationship thereto, the spacer member having a first face and an opposed second face, wherein the spacer member is in overlying relationship to the headband of the associated yarn bundle, and wherein the spacer member has at least one aperture extending from the first face to the second face configured to communicate with the associated headband. Also disclosed is the use of the spacer device alone and the mop device in combination with a mop handle member.

Abstract: A mop device composed of a handle, a mop head configured to connect to the handle and a mop strand bundle connected to the mop head. The mop strand bundle is composed of a plurality of strand members disposed in parallel relation to one another and connected to one another in at least one location. The mop strand bundle also includes a head band. The head band is positioned at a location between first and second ends of the mop strands other than medial between the first and second ends of the strand bundle. The mop head engages the mop strand bundle at a location defined by the head band.

Abstract: A mop device that includes a mop handle connection member. The mop handle connection member has a central body having a first end and an opposed second end with means for engaging a mop handle member associated with the first end of the central body and at least one jaw member associated with the second end of the central body. The mop handle connection member includes a jaw member that is configured to releasably connect with a mop strand bundle. The jaw member has a first end proximate to the central body an opposed second end distal to the first end and a central arm region contiguously located therebetween. The central arm region has a flange projecting outward from the central arm and at least one detent defined in the central arm in spaced relationship to the flange. The mop device also has at least one accessory member connected to the mop handle connection member.
