  • Patent number: 12760716
Abstract: An apparatus for supplying torque and a system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the apparatus, a pair of frames are positioned in a spaced, offset relationship. Each of the frames includes a central hub with arm rails radially extending therefrom. Momentum arms having weighted ends are secured to the pair of frames to form a lattice-like structure. A force, whether hydraulic, wind or from a linear motor, is applied. Each of the momentum arms faces the same direction and maintains a position parallel to the ground during rotation of the apparatus, which may be mechanically coupled to a drive unit for the supply of torque thereto.

  • Publication number: 20220205430
Abstract: A torque generator and a system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the torque generator, a pair of frames are positioned in a spaced, offset relationship. Each of the frames includes a central hub with arm rails radially extending therefrom. Momentum arms having weighted ends are secured to the pair of frames to form a lattice-like structure. Each of the momentum arms faces the same direction and maintains a position parallel to the ground during rotation of the torque generator, which may be mechanically coupled to a drive unit for the transfer of torque thereto.
