  • Publication number: 20020073629
Abstract: The object of invention is a cargo cover (1) , incorporating on the inside pads (2) , inflatable with a medium (air). The cover is placed over the cargo (7) , and at the same time the pads are placed in the corners and at other appropriate places. The cargo is secured with ropes (6) , and the medium is introduced into the pads, causing the pads to expand and tighten the ropes. • Patent number: 5275197
Abstract: A valve structure for an air sack comprising an essentially cylindrical tubular part extending hermetically from the inside to the outside of the sack and having external threads on the portion outside the sack, a plug with internal threads to be screwed on the external threads of the tubular part to close the end of the tubular part hermetically, and a filling valve in the middle of the plug. To facilitate and accelerate the discharge of air from the sack, the plug is provided with several air exhaust holes within the area surrounding the filling valve. At the end of the tubular part facing the plug there is an inner, preferably annular flange part, the upper surface of which is pressed hermetically against the lower surface of the plug closing the passage of air from the sack when the plug is entirely screwed in its place.

  • Patent number: 5240756
Abstract: The invention relates to a tarpaulin (1) comprising a woven basic fabric (2) made waterproof, and several fastening means (5,6) for fastening the tarpaulin (1) to a transport means. A problem with previous tarpaulins has been that they are not alone able to bind the load but chains, for instance, have to be used. This problem is avoided by means of a tarpaulin according to the invention, which is characterized in that the warp yarns of the basic fabric (2) are multifilament yarns, and that areas (3) woven mainly with flat-film as weft yarns and reinforced areas (4) woven with multifilament weft yarns having a greater thickness and tensile strength than warp yarns alternate in the basic fabric in the warp direction, the fastening means (5,6) being attached to the reinforced areas (4) of the basic fabric (2).
