  • Publication number: 20090255477
Abstract: A pet waste management device includes a housing having upper and lower ends. The device includes a receiving bowl positioned in the housing, the bowl having an open upper end and a lower end having an outlet. A cover is situated upwardly adjacent the bowl upper end. A water outlet is positioned adjacent the bowl upper end to introduce water into the bowl. A supply line provides water to the water outlet. The device includes a first foot pedal configured to selectively allow water from the supply line to enter the bowl through the water outlet. A drain line is operatively coupled to the bowl lower end to drain contents of the bowl. The device includes a heating unit to prevent water from freezing, the heating unit including a resistive heating element and a thermostat and is in electrical communication with a power source.

  • Patent number: 7393573
Abstract: A direct mail form having a bond paper layer extending across an entire width and length of the form. An adhesive label portion extends across a limited portion of the bond paper layer. The adhesive label portion of the bond paper layer is treated with a silicone release coating prior to application of the adhesive label portion to the bond paper layer. A bottom surface of the bond paper layer is printed prior to application of the silicone layer. The adhesive label portion and remaining free portion of the bond paper layer are subsequently printed with the bond paper layer also being printed prior to application of the silicone layer and adhesive layer portion so that upon removal of the adhesive label portion, printing is exposed.

  • Patent number: 7341087
Abstract: An apparatus and method for engaging and transferring a discrete part having a varying thickness to a substrate web. The apparatus includes one or more transfer assemblies and a web conveyor supporting the substrate web. Each transfer assembly includes a carrier member adapted to engage and transport the discrete part. One of the carrier member and the web conveyor includes a recessed portion for receiving portions of the discrete part that are relatively thicker than other portions of the discrete part, thereby ensuring more uniform contact between the discrete part and the web substrate.

  • Patent number: 5320413
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly with a linear actuator is disclosed in which the actuator is used to adjust the relative position of two relatively movable components of the seat assembly. The actuator includes a first part attached to one of the seat assembly components in the form of a lead screw with an external helical screw thread. A second part of the actuator, attached to the other seat component, includes a housing containing a spin nut threaded onto the lead screw. The second part further includes means for engaging the spin nut to prevent it from rotating along the lead screw and means for selectively releasing the spin nut to permit rotation about the lead screw and thereby relative movement of the actuator second part relative to the first part. A cam is mounted to the actuator second part to selectively engage and release the spin nut.
