  • Publication number: 20120273646
Abstract: In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of card display devices present in the prior art, the present invention provides improved function and versatility. The present invention provides a multi dimensional card holder for greeting cards, picture cards and the like. Herein lies a device that allows for said cards, oriented however wished (vertically and horizontally) to stand on their own and not fall over when faced with a passing breeze/rush of air or if placed on a slippery surface. The present invention allows for the display of traditional two sided greeting cards (vertical and horizontal) preventing them from falling over and the display of single piece photo cards removing the need for tape/adhesives be stuck to the card.

  • Publication number: 20070290062
Abstract: Thermal foggers may include two or more feed inlets for introducing multiple feed streams to a thermal fogger aerosol generation zone such that the feeds may be introduced at different temperatures. Alternatives also include thermal foggers having multiple barrels such that different chemicals may be aerosolized in different aerosol generation zones to produce multiple aerosols which may be combined and applied to agricultural products, produce, or other surfaces or volumes, and thermal foggers including inlets for injecting non-combustible gases or liquids.

  • Publication number: 20050112775
Abstract: Methods and kits for assaying a chemical in a sample are disclosed. The method includes placing an extraction solution and an internal standard in a container. A sample is collected from a first location and placed in the container. The container is transported to a second location where the chemical in the extraction solution is assayed. A kit for transporting the sample from a first location to a second location includes at least one container for holding the sample. The at least one container includes an extraction solution for dissolving a chemical in the solution and an internal standard for calibrating an assay of the chemical. The methods and kits may be used in a system for quantitating an amount of a sprout inhibitor on a tuber, such as a potato.

  • Patent number: 6322002
Abstract: An improved combustion-type fogging apparatus and process for applying herbicides, insecticides and the like, as an aerosol is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes an improved combustion chamber with counter-current flow of combustion and supplemental air along with a stator at the downstream portion of the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber also has a hydrocarbon fuel burner to produce hot gases which along with the combustion air and supplemental air forms a hot gas flow into an aerosol chamber wherein a liquid or molten material is introduced for the purpose of being converted into a stable aerosol or fog for introduction into a storage facility or for other purposes of applying an aerosol of an insecticide, herbicide or other liquid or molten material.

  • Patent number: 4911576
Abstract: A method for disposing of, confining, and isolating toxic waste material, which includes forming a plurality of housings underneath the surface of the earth. The housings are interconnected by a tunnel housing. At least one of the housings has a silo having a silo door that slidably opens and closes. The toxic waste is passed through the silo, through the silo housing and the tunnel housing, and into the other subterranean housing wherein the toxic waste is disposed. The silo door is then closed in order to enclose, confine, and isolate the toxic waste material.
