    Abstract: This invention involves a balance scale with a base, a balance arm support, a balance arm, a pointer, a counter-balance, a movable label plate containing descriptions and an optional parallel beam. The balance arm has a tray on each end, where one tray holds an article representing mankind with sin, and the other tray holds an article representing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The articles on each tray are of equal or approximately equal weight. The scale rotates when the weight of the articles are added to or removed from the trays, and the scale rotation will determine which description the pointer will point to. This invention can be used as a Christian teaching aid showing the benefit of choosing to accept the death of Christ as payment in full for our sins, along with showing the consequence of our refusal to accept the death of Christ as payment for our sins.

    Abstract: A system and method for determining positional order of vehicles across a threshold plane within a dynamic environment is provided. The system can include moving vehicles (e.g., boats) each having a GPS receiver. A reference object (e.g., an anchored boat) can have an image capturing device and a primary GPS receiver, and can be subject to movement induced by the dynamic environment. A fixed object having a known position (e.g., a government buoy) relative to the reference object define a threshold plane, which is subject to movement based on movement of the reference object. Photometric data gathered by the image capturing device and geospatial data gathered from the GPS receivers, the primary GPS receiver, and the fixed object is analyzed by a processor to determine a positional order at which each vehicle crossed the movable threshold plane.

A primary transmission uplink is established in a first radio frequency band using the LTE radio. The device may then receive a request to establish a secondary transmission uplink in a second frequency band. Upon receiving the request, the device determines whether it can support concurrent use of the primary and secondary frequency bands while maintaining adequate receiver sensitivity. If the device cannot support such concurrent use, the device refuses the request. In addition, the device provides data indicating the degree by which certain performance parameters would be out-of-tolerance if the secondary connection were to be established.
