  • Patent number: 10156425
Abstract: A sighting device for a bow which attaches to a release mechanism being used with said bow. The sighting device includes a sighting assembly, a positioning-and-orienting arm with multiple degrees of freedom, and a mounting clamp. The sighting assembly includes an annular plate, a sight eyepiece, and a support arm. The sight eyepiece is oriented normal to the annular plate and is positioned within a lateral boundary that is defined as an extension of an inner wall of the annular plate. The support arm is swivelably and adjacently connected to the annular plate and holds the sight eyepiece in place. A first end of the positioning-and-orienting arm is adjacently attached to the annular plate and a second of the positioning-and-orienting arm is attached to the mounting clamp. The mounting clamp is attached to the release mechanism, thus positioning the sighting assembly directly in front of the user's eye.
