  • Patent number: 9146448
Abstract: Exceptionally crisp infrared images are provided by a binocular infrared imaging system for close in focusing that simultaneously directs the center lines of the optical channels to a close in point while at the same time providing auto focusing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 23, 2013
Date of Patent: September 29, 2015

  • Publication number: 20060197358
Abstract: A hydraulic synchronization system for a slide-out portion of a recreational vehicle has two cylinders spaced apart and reversed in orientation with respect to one another at opposite sides of the slide-out portion. The bore sides of the cylinders are connected and the rod sides of the cylinders are connected such that fluid is pumped from the rod side of one cylinder to the rod side of the other cylinder and from the bore side of one cylinder to the bore side of the other cylinder upon extension and retraction of the slide-out portion to keep the slide-out portion synchronized.

  • Patent number: 6964097
Abstract: The present invention is a shaving apparatus that includes a razor cartridge having one or more razor blades, a housing, a flexible bladder, and a handle having an interior cavity and an actuator. The housing includes an exterior surface that is adjacent the razor cartridge and includes one or more ports. The housing is attached to an open end of the flexible bladder such that the one or more ports are in fluid communication with the contents of the flexible bladder. The flexible bladder stores a flowable shaving aid material and is disposed within an interior cavity in the handle. The actuator is operable to collapse the flexible bladder, thereby forcing the flowable shaving aid material from the flexible bladder to the one or more ports. Once the flowable shaving aid material exits the ports, it is dispensed on the surface being shaved adjacent the razor cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20050120560
Abstract: A shaving apparatus is provided that includes a razor cartridge, a shaving aid dispenser, and a reservoir operable to contain a non-solid shaving aid material. The shaving aid dispenser includes one or more valves disposed within a contact panel. The contact panel is disposed adjacent the cutting edges of the one or more razor blades. Each of the valves is selectively operable between an open position and a closed position. The valves are operated by the normal force of the contact surface applied to the surface to be shaved. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the selectively operable valves.

  • Publication number: 20040255465
Abstract: A shaving apparatus is provided that includes a handle, a razor cartridge, a plurality of shaving aid material doses, a carrier, and an actuator. The razor cartridge includes one or more razor blades, and is attached to the handle. The shaving aid material doses are each in a substantially dehydrated form. The carrier is disposed within the handle, and is operable to carry the shaving aid material doses within the handle. The actuator is operable to move the carrier to a position within the handle wherein at least one of the shaving aid material doses can be hydrated to produce a flowable shaving aid material.

  • Patent number: 5552564
Abstract: An H-shaped compressible connector having a main body and two pairs of opposed legs extending in opposite directions from the main body. The H-shaped connector is designed to require a relatively small amount of compressive force to be applied to a crimping device to completely close the connector. In one embodiment, circular ribs or angular tips are provided on the distal portion of each of the legs.

  • Patent number: 5493975
Abstract: A cartridge for a powder actuated tool having a cartridge case, a powder propellant, a bushing, and a piston. The piston has a tapered outer diameter that is larger in a rear end of the piston and is compressed inward by the cartridge case. A port extends through the piston and has an entrance to the port at a rear end of the piston with a semi-spherical shape to slow gas flow rate passing through the port and reduce the amount of propellant residue passing through the port. The piston has a main section and a cantilevered section. The cantilevered section has a general ring shape and forms a portion of the outer diameter of the piston.
