    Abstract: An abrasive material transferring pipe is lined with a cured shape memory retaining elastomeric liner. The inner surface of the pipe is in contact with the outer surface of the elastomeric liner. When the liner is not under tension, the outer diameter of the elastomeric liner is larger than the inner diameter of the pipe. Expansion pressure by the liner maintains the liner in the pipe.
