  • Patent number: 4913189
Abstract: A control module for controlling the operation of multiple fluid pressure actuated devices and electrical devices, as in an automotive heating/cooling system, includes a one-piece sheet metal frame or bracket upon which a plurality of solenoid valves, circuit boards and a manifold are assembled in a compact, tightly, but easily assembled, package. The assembled package is of a generally rectangular box-shaped configuration with electrical and fluid flow connections located at one end to connect with electric and fluid connectors fixedly mounted on the vehicle to provide a simple plug-in-type installation of the module on the vehicle assembly line.

  • Patent number: 4232372
Abstract: A positive and negative acceleration responsive means and system is shown as comprising a speed sensor effective for sensing and generating an initial electrical signal indicative of the speed of a related moving structure, a zero crossing differentiator for receiving the initial speed signal and producing a secondary positive and negative electrical pulse in response to and in accordance with the initial speed signal, a multivibrator for receiving the secondary signal pulses and producing a unidirectional output pulse in response thereto, and integrator and differentiator means for producing an output voltage which, is directly related to the sensed accelerator or deceleration and which, in turn, may be employed for a desired related control function.

  • Patent number: 4150645
Abstract: A carbureting type fuel metering apparatus has an induction passage into which fuel is fed by several metering systems among which are a main fuel metering system and an idle fuel metering system, as generally known in the art; electrical circuit means responsive to signals produced by associated engine exhaust gas analyzing means sensitive to selected constituents of such exhaust gas and also responsive to other selected indicia of vehicle and/or engine operating conditions, creates feedback signal means which through associated transducer means become effective for controllably modulating the metering characteristics of the main fuel metering system and the idle fuel metering system.
