    Abstract: An appliance control console structure adapted to be mounted on a mounting portion of the appliance for suitably housing the appliance electrical controls. The structure includes a pair of end cap assemblies, a mounting plate extending between the end cap assemblies and carrying the electrical controls, and a cover. The end cap assemblies may be formed of two portions with the portion of the space within the console structure in which the electrical controls are disposed being confronted by only one of the two end cap portions. The end cap portions may include integral structure for rigidly locking the portions together.
