  • Patent number: 4366672
Abstract: A fluid pressure system includes a variable displacement pump and a control spool. The control spool has one end face exposed to pressure in a control chamber and another end face exposed to pump outlet pressure to increase or decrease the displacement of the pump. The control chamber includes a pilot valve which regulates the maximum pressure in the control chamber. A resistance means and a capacitance means is connected to the control chamber in parallel with the pilot valve to make the control spool responsive to the rate of change of pump outlet pressure.

  • Patent number: 4139097
Abstract: A semi-transparent, tray-like container having a flat bottom and substantially vertical side and end walls defining a storage space has flange-like projections on each side wall inner surface in proximity to but spaced from the bottom to define, with the bottom, a retaining channel which slidably receives a removable panel assembly containing a plurality of hinged overlapping transparent envelopes which can be flipped like pages to display flat objects such as photography, stamps, recipes and the like contained therein. The retaining channel holds the panel assembly securely in place with little or no movement even when the envelope pages are turned with the result that the flat objects remain organized and in place in the container for safe storage and convenient display. The container bottom is constructed with supporting legs which may project into the opening of a like container for stacked alignment therewith to provide a system of a plurality of stacked tray-like containers.

  • Patent number: 4033022
Abstract: A hand operated swager for attaching a fitting to a hose includes a housing having a turning means rotatably mounted at the top portion thereof and a die for radially contracting the fitting onto the hose is removably mounted at the lower portion of the housing. The turning means is fixed against axial movement on the housing, is manually rotatable by the use of a wrench, and includes a ball nut threadably engaged with a pusher assembly that is axially but not rotatably movable relative to the housing whereby rotation of the turning means causes the pusher assembly to move axially into engagement with the fitting but imparts no rotary force to the pusher assembly that might be transmitted to the fitting. The swager also includes spring retainers for removably retaining the die in the housing.
