More particularly, the present invention relates to a waste receptacle that contains a venting system which allows air to enter the receptacle when removing a trash liner, thus allowing the liner to be removed more easily than before. Additionally, as the air moves through the venting system and across or through a deodorizing media, a fresh scent, anti-bacterial agent or other desired effect is provided when the garbage liner is removed from the waste receptacle.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat bottom with a seat back supported on the seat bottom. An armrest is pivotally attached to one side of the seat back, and can pivot between a stowed position and an operable position. In the stowed position the armrest is vertically aligned with the seat back and in the operable position the armrest extends generally outwardly from the seat back so that a user can rest their arm on the armrest. The armrest is received by a support rod that extends outwardly from one side of the seat back. The armrest includes a substantially rigid insert member and a resilient retaining member. The resilient retaining member is installed in the insert member and the insert member is then pressed onto the support rod such that the resilient retaining member engages both the insert member and the support rod to secure the armrest to the seat back.

The container further includes a movable pressure assembly plate to apply a pressure to the fluid to dispense the fluid from the discharge outlets. The secondary dispensing dischage outlet (3) incorporates a gear pump (5) which is adjustably operable to dispense a particular volume of fluid material corresponding to a particular weight of fluid material to be dispensed. The pressure plate assembly (4) includes a presser plate (21) slidably movable in the container (1) in sealed contact with side walls (1a) of the container (1) to engage directly or indirectly the upper surface of fluid material in the container (1).

    Abstract: A container top closure integrally formed from plastic polymer material as by injection molding. The closure is adapted to be attached to the upper end of a container for granular or other pourable material. A single plastic member, such as polypropylene, or polyethylene, is provided with a dispensing opening, the opening having an integral skirt downwardly depending from three sides of its periphery, to define a first dispensing opening surface. A closure flap, integrally formed with the member which defines the top closure, carries two sealing surfaces which cooperate with complementary surfaces formed around the dispensing opening. The sealing surfaces provide increased moisture entrance resistance across the dispensing opening.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a top closure lid construction for a container. The lid is integrally formed from a plastic cover member, the member carrying a main paperboard insert on its upper surface, the member and insert being secured together. The plastic cover member has an integral tongue to define, upon tongue pivoting, an opening in the member. The main paperboard insert is hinged about a contiguous pivot axis, and carries a pull tab. Spaced lugs or detents are provided to facilitate reclosing of the closure. If formed from a brittle plastics material, pulling the pull tab breaks the plastics member at its tongue hinge. The closure lid further includes an upstanding wall which enables stacking.

    Abstract: A tool is described for the holding and insertion of integrated circuit (IC) packages of the type having a metallic heat sink member fused to the chip-enclosing ceramic body. The heat sink member includes a locator or registration hole. The tool finds particular application in connection with a patented high package density island configuration wherein each IC package is secured by means of the registration hole on a retention post of a connector which is mounted between, and in close proximity to, adjacent parallel sections of the island cooling frame. The IC package heat sink member has at least one integral extension adapted to contact the frame. In performing its holding and insertion function, the tool is capable of engaging the sides of the registration hole. The assembler may then convey the IC package to the connector in which it is to be mounted, and positions the hole above the connector retention post.

    Abstract: A shock resistant, generally tubular container for protecting and displaying fragile articles, such as bottles or decanters, is provided. It is constructed from a single blank of rigid material such as corrugated fiberboard. The container comprises a front wall section consisting of first and second front wall panels. First and second shadow panels are hingedly connected to the first and second front wall panels, respectively, and are folded inwardly from the plane of the front wall section towards the back wall section of the container to thereby form an aperture in the front wall section. A pair of oppositely disposed top and bottom wall panels are provided which are hingedly connected along a first pair of opposed outer edges of the front wall section. Each of the top and bottom wall panels includes a tuck flap hingedly connected along a back edge thereof. The tuck flap hinged to the bottom wall panel has a transverse slot therein.
