  • Patent number: 10297942
Abstract: A grounding connector connectable to first and second electrical conductors includes a first body member and a second body member, each of the first and second body members connectable together to form a plurality of passages therebetween. One of the first or second body members further includes one of a locking channel or a locking tab and the other of the first or second body members further includes the other of a locking channel or a locking tab. The locking tab is disposed in the locking channel when the first and second body members are assembled together.

  • Patent number: 9942124
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing automated testing of network client devices. In one embodiment, test scripts are run at a remote entity which causes changes to functions and/or applications available at the associated client devices. Test scripts may be run as text file framework scripts in a framework run on a script engine. Video capture, optical character recognition (OCR) and image comparison may also be used to determine whether changes to the functions and/or applications run at the devices under test were implemented. The components of the test management and control (TMC) system may be located at separate entities. Several testing entities may access and run tests on the client devices from different remote locations using web services. A reservation service also may be utilized to enable the various testing entities to reserve a date/time for running a test.

  • Patent number: 6414953
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cross connect switch which allows different protocols to be used. The switch is made up of two cross point modules, one for transmission and one for reception. I/O blocks corresponding to each station or network interface are connected to the cross point modules. Each I/O block includes four differential pairs. The I/O block permits selective activation for transmission or reception of any of the four pairs. In addition, half duplex control logic is used to implement protocols using a single differential pair for both transmission and reception. Also a token ring interface is included on the I/O blocks in order to allow detection and generation of phantom DC currents necessary for operation with token rings.

  • Patent number: 5914965
Abstract: A self-test circuit for a fibre optic transmitter is provided. The transmitter includes amplification circuitry which amplifies a first serial digital signal and introduces an unknown delay to produce a second serial digital signal. To detect a failure of the amplification circuitry, the first digital signal is passed through a shift register. When the shift register contains all ones or all zeros, a comparison of the shift register bit type (one or zero) is made with a most recent bit in the second digital signal. If a mismatch is detected, then an error signal is generated.
