Abstract: A paintbrush features an elongated handle with an interior passage and a head with a wider interior cavity. The handle defines an inlet at its first end and an outlet at its second end, which fluidly connects to the head's inlet, forming a continuous fluid flow path to the head's outlet. The head's interior cavity includes a first longitudinal section configured as a temporary fluid retention chamber and a second longitudinal section configured as a sleeve for a plug with drainage holes. The handle may have a tapered external profile and an exterior gripping surface. An endcap may be releasably attached to the handle's first end, which may also be configured for fluid source attachment.

Abstract: A novel flying toy comprising a ringed or banded rotor launched by a pulled string. The rotor has an outer ring or band and an inner circular disk connected by a plurality of curved blades. The rotor rests upon a spindle set in one end of a handle grasped by the user. The rotor is loosely held by pins in the spindle. A string is wound around the spindle and pulled by the user. The spindle and rotor are spun rapidly causing the rotor to lift off the pins and into the air. The outer band contains air near the blades, and coupled with the configuration of the blades, contributes greatly to aerodynamic lift and flight stability.

Abstract: A paintbrush that constructed to be cleaned by conveying a cleaning solution into the handle of the paintbrush. Cleaning solution passes into the through the hollow handle, and through holes made in the heel of the paintbrush (the end of the handle to which bristles are attached.) Cleaning solution then disperses into the bristles and washes paint from the bristles. In particular, paint is cleaned from the heel of the brush, which is particularly hard to clean.
