  • Publication number: 20180290706
Abstract: A quick release assembly for attaching handlebars to a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly is a cam assembly that in a first positon engages the handlebars of a vehicle in an operational position and when said cam assembly is in a second position disengages the handlebars to permit easy storage of the vehicle in a minimum of space. The quick release assembly permits a tool free assembly of a vehicle with a handlebar, such as, for example, a bicycle.

  • Publication number: 20150034427
Abstract: Tuned mass dampers are disclosed, and that are configured to cancel vibrations of a component of a bicycle at a natural frequency of the component in response to operation of a disc brake assembly of the bicycle. For instance, the component may comprise one or more frame members (e.g., the entire bicycle frame) of the bicycle and the damper may be engaged therewith and configured for cancellation/dampening of vibrations at the natural frequency of the bicycle frame as measured at the frame member to which the damper is attached. Accordingly, when a driving force is imparted to the frame member by operation of a disc brake assembly at a frequency at or near the natural frequency of the bicycle frame, the damper may counteract such vibration.
