    Abstract: A method for predicting or detecting susceptibility to lupus of an individual subjected to photoprovocation obtains biological samples from the individual before and after exposure to photoprovocation and compares the levels of at least a portion of members of a 45-member panel or subset thereof to determine whether the individual is susceptible to lupus. The method enables identification of potential lupus patients prior to onset of disease symptoms.
