  • Publication number: 20260089607
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a first physical location serviceable by a private access network and an indication of physical location of a user. The first physical location can be compared to the second physical location to obtain a first comparison result. Activation of the wireless access network can be controlled according to the comparison result between an active state in which the wireless access network is available for network service at the first physical location and an inactive state in which the wireless access network is unavailable for service at the first physical location. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12574355
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to zero trust network access (“ZTNA”) and virtual private network (“VPN”) client offloading. According to one aspect, a user device can establish a private network session to access a private network resource in a private network. The user device can receive a request to offload the private network session from the user device to a secure router. In response to the request, the user device can offload the private network session to the secure router.

  • Publication number: 20250385842
Abstract: A network device may establish a first interface with a network data analytics function (NWDAF) of a service-based architecture (SBA), and may establish a second interface with Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) access devices and non-3GPP access devices. The network device may provide, to the NWDAF and via the first interface, definitions of analytics data to be generated by the NWDAF, and may provide, to the NWDAF and via the first interface, raw data of an operational state of the SBA to cause the NWDAF to calculate the analytics data based on the definitions and the raw data of an operational state. The network device may receive the analytics data from the NWDAF and via the first interface, and may perform one or more actions based on the analytics data.

  • Publication number: 20250184213
Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that provide an improved mechanism for a subscriber entity to report to a network provider a network issue that affects the performance of an application that uses a service provided by the network provider. The improved mechanism can enable fine granularity with respect to the network issue by identifying the issue on a per-session basis. In response to feedback data that is reported by the subscriber entity, the network provider can perform self-healing or other upgrade techniques to rapidly remedy the network issue.

  • Publication number: 20240406025
Abstract: A first device associated with a physical optical line terminal (pOLT) and a disaggregated broadband network gateway user plane (DBNG-UP) may receive, from a second device associated with an optical network unit (ONU), a first packet associated with a request for network configuration information. The first device may determine, based on the first packet, a circuit identifier associated with a communication link between the first device and the second device, and a remote identifier associated with the second device. The first device may send to a third device associated with a disaggregated broadband network gateway control plane (DBNG-CP), the first packet and additional information that includes the circuit identifier and the remote identifier. The first device may receive from the third device a second packet associated with a response to the request for the network configuration information, and may send the second packet to the second device.

  • Patent number: 11558382
Abstract: In general, techniques are described for supporting bulk delivery of change of authorization data in authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) protocols, where delivery is performed as a change of authorization after a subscriber has successfully authenticated and initially authorized. In one example, the techniques are directed to a method including determining, by a RADIUS server for a service provider network, change of authorization data for services to which the subscriber of the service provider network has subscribed. The method further includes generating, by the RADIUS server, RADIUS messages that form a transaction between the RADIUS server and a network access server acting as a RADIUS client. The RADIUS messages provide all of the change of authorization data to the network access server prior to the network access server provisioning the services. The method further includes outputting, by the RADIUS server, the RADIUS messages to the network access server.
