    Abstract: A self-loading mobile crusher system for reducing the size of debris disposed in a pile includes a vehicle having first and second sides adapted for movement on the surface of the debris pile. The vehicle includes first and second surface engaging devices disposed on each side of the vehicle. A debris crushing assembly is connected to the vehicle for movement with the vehicle. A debris transferring assembly is connected to the vehicle for movement with the vehicle for transferring debris from the pile to the crushing assembly. Disposed between the vehicle sides, adjacent the transferring assembly and connected to the vehicle for movement with the vehicle is a control structure for controlling passage of debris from the debris pile forward of the surface engaging devices to a position under the surface engaging devices.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) assisted cryosurgery. Optimal probe placements and cooling parameters are calculated prior to cryosurgery using MRI data. A MRI compatible cryoprobe and a stereotactic probe positioning device are provided. The resolution of MR images is enhanced by mounting a radio frequency MR coil on the intracorporeal end of a cryoprobe. During cryosurgery the temperature distribution in the frozen region is solved by determining the boundary of the frozen region and solving the heat equation for the known boundary conditions. During cryosurgery the temperature distribution in the unfrozen region is determined by T1 measurements. The process of freezing is controlled using information from the solution of the energy equation in the frozen region and temperature measurements in the unfrozen region. After cryosurgery the extent of the tissue damage may be ascertained using phosphorus-31 and/or sodium-23 spectroscopy with a special coil set on the cryosurgical probe.

    Abstract: A misfire correction factor is included in the calculation of the fuel pulse width so that upon detection of a misfire, the excess fuel that would normally have entered the engine is offset or canceled, thus reducing or desensitizing the effects of the reaction of the lean biased exhaust gas oxygen sensor signal. This compensation allows for normally firing cylinders to operate closer to stoichiometric air/fuel ratio when other cylinders are operating in a misfire condition. The fuel adjustment due to engine misfire not only protects against catalyst degradation, but also decreases unwanted emissions.

    Abstract: The present infant feeding container attempts to simulate as much as possible the sensation of a mother's breast, avoiding many of the drawbacks attendant with conventional artificial means of breast feeding. The container is ideally breast-shaped and fabricated of a resilient material resembling a natural breast. Having a wider base than elongate cylindrical bottles of equal volume, a more stable container is provided. Included is a rack suitable for holding the container for content heating and sterilization. The improved sensory experience facilitated by these innovations is expected to far more closely approximate the experience of natural breast feeding and some of the benefits attendant thereto.

    Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes a strip of white rubber which is added to the otherwise black tire sidewall. The strip is molded separately from the other tire components and is added to the unvulcanized tire at the tire curing press. The strip is pressed into a recess in the sidewall forming surface of the upper tire mold half by a carrier ring which swings into the tire press with the green tire loader. The strip of white rubber is then affixed to the tire during molding of the tire.

    Abstract: A holographic display and method for displaying hologram are disclosed. The method and apparatus provides a compact display arrangement in which the light source for illuminating the display is integral with the display, or in other words, an external light source is not necessary. The hologram utilized in the display is formed as a rainbow hologram, with a converging reference beam utilized in forming the diffraction grating upon the holographic plate. The display includes a pair of spaced transparent glass sheets, with the light source disposed between the glass sheets. The holographic plate formed with the converging reference beam is then mounted upon one of the glass sheets, with the light source illuminating the holographic plate with diverging illumination light. A mirror is associated with each of the transparent glass sheets at a location adjacent to the light source, with the reflective surfaces of the mirrors facing each other.
