  • Patent number: 11458285
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a medical device to selective lock a first elongate member from longitudinal movement relative to a second elongate member of the medical device. The locking mechanism includes a flexible tubular member disposed in a bore of a handle assembly of the medical device, and an actuator, such as a cam member having a cam or eccentric surface. Pivotable movement of the actuator from a first position to a second position compresses or deforms the flexible tubular member against the first elongate member to lock the first elongate member from longitudinal movement relative to the handle assembly.

  • Patent number: 11442640
Abstract: A system and method for utilizing unmapped and unknown states in a storage system. When a first portion of a first medium is determined to be unreachable from any other mediums, the first portion of the first medium may be put into an unmapped state, and its data may be discarded and the corresponding storage locations may be freed. During replication of the first medium to a replica storage array, the state of the first portion of the first medium may be translated from the unmapped state into an unknown state on the replica storage array. If another storage array has the data of the first portion of the first medium, this data may be used to overwrite the first portion of the first medium on the replica storage array, converting the first portion of the first medium from the unknown state into the mapped state.

  • Patent number: 10929932
Abstract: A method, computing device and computer program product parse an electronic message and construct multiple differently prioritized messages. An electronic message is parsed to separately identify first and second differently formatted portions and the electronic message is analyzed to identify an action to be taken. In response to identification of a first action, a first message is constructed based upon the first portion to be transmitted to a first request processor and a first response is then received from the first request processor. A second message is constructed based upon the second portion. The method analyzes the first response and, when the first response is of a first type, causes the second message to be transmitted to a second request processor and based upon the second message, receives a second response from the second request processor. The method then constructs a response to the electronic message.

  • Patent number: 10799096
Abstract: A steerable device, such as a steerable catheter, may include a control handle and an insertion shaft extending outwardly therefrom. In use, the insertion shaft is navigated to an area of interest for examination and/or treatment thereof. The steerable device may include a steering system that controls the deflection angle of the distal end of the insertion shaft in two or more non-planar directions for navigating the insertion shaft to the area of interest. The steering system may also include a locking mechanism for arresting or partially arresting the movement of the distal end of the insertion shaft in a first direction independent of arresting or partially arresting the movement of the distal end in a second non-planar direction.

  • Patent number: 10610237
Abstract: A system for treating tissue includes an applicator and a clip assembly. The applicator includes a catheter extending longitudinally and a lumen extending therethrough, a control member extending through the lumen of the catheter. The assembly is releasably coupleable to a distal end of the applicator. The assembly includes a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of which are slidably received within a channel of a capsule, a pair of opposing coupling elements extending proximally from the proximal ends of the arms to be fixed over the distal end of the member so that the arms are movable relative to the capsule via a longitudinal motion of the member between a tissue receiving configuration, in which distal ends of the arms are separated from one another, and a tissue clipping configuration, in which distal ends of the arms are moved toward one another.
