    Abstract: A damping apparatus for a gooseneck trailer and a gooseneck trailer are provided. The damping apparatus includes an inner shaft and an outer shaft reciprocable about the inner shaft. A first plate is coupled with the outer shaft. A second plate may be coupled with the first plate, and a damping member disposed between the first and second plates to damp relative movement between the inner and outer shafts.
