  • Patent number: 12588759
Abstract: Retaining brackets to fixedly secure either a singular modular shelving unit or multiple modular shelving units are disclosed. The retaining brackets can prevent modular shelves from dislodging, by positioning the retaining bracket such that an opening on the retaining bracket aligns with a mounting location on a vertical member of the modular shelving unit, and a distance between a retaining surface of the retaining bracket and a top surface of the modular shelf is small enough to prevent dislodging of the modular shelf when the retaining bracket is installed. The retaining surface of the retaining brackets can vary depending on the configuration used to retain the modular shelf, as well as the embodiment of the retaining bracket used.

  • Patent number: 9108612
Abstract: The invention is a hovercraft with multiple lift chambers which are operable independently of each other. Independently-operable pivot arm assemblies connect each lift chamber to the hovercraft main body, and his gives the hovercraft the ability to travel over uneven surfaces, traverse obstacles that would block conventional hovercrafts, and climb or descend even severe inclines. The hovercraft also includes side thrusters which allow it to maintain its vertical position on an incline while traveling laterally across the incline.

  • Publication number: 20080089039
Abstract: A micropackage, an interposer, in which a flexible dielectric plastic substrate composed of a dielectric layer with a layer of conductive film (copper) on one surface is photo-imaged to define at least two electrical interconnects each including a tab formed in the copper film. The interconnects extend out over the edges of the plastic substrate in at least two directions to form at least two flanges. A cavity is formed in the plastic substrate such that the tabs of the at least two interconnects extend into said cavity. An electrical device or an electro mechanical device having contacts is received in the cavity of the plastic substrate with its contacts engaged with and bonded to the tabs of the interconnects. The method of making, and the use of the interposer in a further substrate, e.g. a PCB, that contains electrical connections or circuitry to which the interposer is connected to by the flanges.

  • Publication number: 20070044633
Abstract: A comfort cushion apparatus is provided for a guitar which has a notch in the guitar body. The apparatus includes a cushion support attached to the notch and fills up the notch in the guitar body. A cushion is attached to the cushion support. The notch is present in the guitar body so that the comfort cushion apparatus serves as an armrest when fitted into the notch. The armrest can make guitar playing more comfortable and more accessible for children who are in between junior and full size guitars. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, a method is provided for making a guitar which has a comfort cushion, the method includes the steps of: obtaining a guitar; cutting a notch out the guitar body; fixing a comfort cushion support in the notch; and attaching a cushion to the cushion support.
