Patent number: 11911325Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) of a patient bed is used by a caregiver to manually enter location data indicative of a location in a healthcare facility at which the patient bed is located. A first screen for manually entering location data is displayed on the GUI after a threshold period of time elapses subsequent to a power plug of the patient bed being plugged into an alternating current (AC) outlet of the healthcare facility and subsequent to casters of the patient bed being braked. A voice prompt is also given from the patient bed after the threshold period of time elapses to remind the caregiver to manually enter the location data. After manual entry of the location data, circuitry of the patient bed transmits the location data entered by the caregiver and a bed identification (ID) from the bed for receipt by a remote computer for purposes of making a bed-to-room association.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2020Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Hill-Rom Services, Inc.Inventors: Richard H. Patent number: 7062710Abstract: An output engine operable to convert a file from a first format to a second format. The output engine includes a decomposer that is called by a calling application. The decomposer receives an input file and a desired file format from the calling application. The decomposer decomposes the input file into a component architecture, making the properties of objects within the input file available to other components in the output engine. The output engine also includes a writer that calls the decomposer multiple times to retrieve the component architecture of the file and generate a new version of the file in the second format. The invention also provides a method of delivering a desired file format and an input file to a decomposer. The input file is decomposed into a component architecture in the decomposer and a new version of the input file in the second format is generated by calling the decomposer multiple times from a writer.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2002Date of Patent: June 13, 2006Assignee: VMP Mortgage Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Paul John Gunn, Yevgeniy O. Patent number: 4420834Abstract: A flow attenuator which is utilized to direct coolant flow to liquid cooled laser mirrors and in so doing substantially eliminates the liquid flow induced jitter generally associated with such flow. The flow attenuator has a housing in which is formed a centrally located passageway. The passageway branches into a plurality of substantially radially extending contoured chambers. A distribution screen is removably interposed between the passageway and the chambers in order to substantially reduce the "noise" within the coolant liquid as it passes through the attentuator to the laser mirrors.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 1981Date of Patent: December 13, 1983Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Air ForceInventors: Walter H.
