  • Patent number: 9132448
Abstract: Devices and methods for curing materials with radiant energy are described. The devices include a first reflector and a second reflector that are semi-ellipses. The ellipses that define the first reflector and the second reflector have axes of different lengths, and the reflectors are aligned such that the focal points of the reflectors are overlaid. A radiative energy source at a near focal point of a reflector can provide energy to cure a coating on a substrate at a far focal point of the reflector. The different sizes of the two reflectors decrease focusing error of the radiative energy and provide improved efficiency to the curing system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 8, 2014
Date of Patent: September 15, 2015
    Assignee: Miltec Corporation

  • Publication number: 20050005487
Abstract: Disclosed is a display device, elongate mount, and display module for displaying alphanumeric information to passengers of a mass transit vehicle. The display modules are mounted along a single edge to a elongate mount. The elongate mount includes at least one end cap which is made of a vibration dampening material. The louver of the display device includes a substantially continuous pressure member in order to place substantially continuous elongate contact to an area of an LED board that houses at least one heating element. The at least one heating element is covered by a thermally conductive foam that transmits heat from the elements to a heat sink of the display module.

  • Patent number: 4310915
Abstract: A cutting stylus assembly for electromechanically recording short wavelength video signal information in a metal master is supported in a cutterhead suspension apparatus. In the suspension head apparatus the cutting stylus assembly is supported by an air puck device so that the stylus cuts an information track having a given quiescent depth. Two sets of parallel spring steel suspension members are used to mount the cutting stylus assembly and air puck to an electromechanical recording lathe. These suspension members are used to control the cutting stylus assembly and air puck motion, to maintain a fixed stylus assembly to air puck plane relationship and to effect a variable preload for the cutting stylus system.
